Save our Park

Stockwell is already densely populated. The only green space exists in private gardens and on Hyde estates. These "green spaces" are often neglected and run down like the small pocket park behind the bus bays opposite Stockwell station which has been neglected to the point of danger. It has been locked shut for almost a year now with no evidence of re-opening soon. The park on Rhodesia road is the only pocket park within a 10 minute walk unless you cross the A3. The park also is home to bats, foxes, squirrels, birds and thousands of species of insects and micro fauna.
